The NIFS organization offers up to (2) $500 scholarships per year.  Any student pursuing a higher education in the state of Nebraska is encouraged to apply for one of these scholarships. An downloadable application form is available here.  If you know of a student who you think would be deserving of one of these scholarships, use the downloadable recommendation form available here.

Brittney D. from North Platte was awarded a the scholarship for the 2012-13 school year. As a junior Art and Education major at Chadron State College, the NIFS scholarship has helped financially in obtaining her degree.  The logo for the 2013 Shop Hop was designed by Brittney for the NIFS organization. This is just one small way that she is thanking the organization for the support it has given her and her aspirations to continue in the art field.
